EMERALD MEDIA GROUP ALUMNI
As the Fundraising and Alumni Relations, I spend most of my time creating content, scheduling posts, and strategizing how to engage EMG’s alumni through social media.
Over time, I was given the opportunity to experiment with the social media pages (Instagram and 2 on Facebook) and take charge. This role deepened my understanding of the EMG’s mission and values.
As the intern, I’ve crafted weekly posts such as the “Looksbacks.” I’ve also planned collaborative posts between the publications under the EMG, including the Daily Emerald. Furthermore, I’ve curated captions for every piece of content and increased the view, followers, and likes count by over 50%.
